william wichals broadway in concert made its New York City debut on September 15, 2001,
 in immediate response to Mayor Giuliani's plea to keep Broadway, and New York City in general, moving and alive. 
At the time, William had returned as Gaston to the Broadway production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. 
Prior to and since this event, broadway in concert has been presented around the country
 in numerous private and public functions, and the concert CD has sold to fans on three continents.
